In my recent trekking about the internet, I have found a few interesting pieces of news regarding KINGDOM HEARTS: Birth By Sleep.

During the week of January 25 to January 31, KINGDOM HEARTS: Birth By Sleep has fallen in the top 10 game sales list in Japan, being surpassed by games such as Wii Fit Plus, New Super Mario Bros., and Dragon Quest VI. However, its number of units sold continues to climb, selling another 30,000 units and bringing its overall number up to 713,000, which, in my opinion, is quite impressive for game that’s been out for less than a month.

According to FF Reunion, Amazon JP has listed KINGDOM HEARTS: Birth By Sleep ULITIMANIA with a confirmed release date of March 25th with a price of 1,995 yen.

It also seems that Hot Topic is updating their website with some more KINGDOM HEARTS merchandise. Two new products have been added to the section of KINGDOM HEARTS gear including a new T-Shirt, and a new Key Pin. Our thanks to Horo from KHVids for bringing this merch to our attention!

The latest issue of Famitsu features Sora from the series for the top characters of the new issue. Sora, not only made the list, but also made it on the cover of the video gaming magazine, along with seven other pages containing characters from the KINGDOM HEARTS series.

Among the scans that were shown in the interview, there was also an interview with Nomura about Sora’s design and what we can expect next from the series.

The next video scene from KINGDOM HEARTS Birth By Sleep has been dubbed by the [KHV] KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep team. This video focuses on Ventus at the time that he meets up with Lea (Axel) and Isa (Saix) from Radiant Garden.

The scene is about the establishing friendship between Lea and Ventus. Although, Lea and Isa were rushing to the castle of Radiant Garden, Ventus appeared to be concerned about meeting up with them again.

The video is dubbed by Ryusuke (Isa), Newkidaye (Lea) and myself as Ventus. This video clip features many audio effects. The sound effects and music was placed just right to fit the scene. Some lines were missed, due to a deadline, but shouldn’t cause too much of a concern.

Here comes the next video from the [KHV] KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep fandub production. This is a video production that I have been working on for KHV, which features many talented members from KHV and VAA. This video is almost the very start of the game where Ventus (Ven) goes through the awakening that we’ve also seen with Sora and Roxas from the previous KINGDOM HEARTS titles.

The fandub video is very short and only contains me voicing as Ventus. Different sound effects were added, so it would fit the video. Also, an echo effect on my voice was added, so it would also match the scene. JetFire62 who plays as Terra in the production and is our staff member here at Chaotic-Gaming, has also voiced in this video by voicing over me saying “Let’s opened the door”, which appears to be voiced by someone mysterious? We believe it’s Sora.

Also, the [KHV] KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep fandub production continues with the casted members from KHV and VAA. Let us know what scenes you want us to dub from KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep. It’s all about you guys, so please let us know.

The ending of KINGDOM HEARTS Coded for episode 8 has been shown on YouTube thanks to YouTube member “benrules100″. The ending contains Sora, King Mickey and Namine in the pod room of Twilight Town.

For those that have played or spoiled themselves to KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep will understand exactly what’s going on. The final ending of KINGDOM HEARTS Coded and KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep connects in the next adventure.

WHOA! Hold on a second! It seems as though 1up.com knows something that we do not! Or do they? On their website, if you were to type “Kingdom Hearts” in the search box, and scroll down the results page to the Birth By Sleep icon, they will notice that the game has a release date for MAY 14TH, 2010. Weird, right? Ah, but it only gets stranger….If you click on the link to go to the Birth By Sleep page, you will notice that the May 14th date has disappeared and only the 2010 release date is in place. Hmmm…. I myself can’t help but think this release date is fake, but I’ll let my fanboy take over and believe it this time. But what do you guys think? Is 1up telling us the truth? Or was this just a gross mistake on the site moderator’s part? Either way, it’s coming out, so it’s only a matter of time anyway…

The KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (volume 2) novel cover has surfaced on the Square-Enix Game Books Online website, which features Riku and Xion in a new artwork design for the title. KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days: (Vol.2) Go to the Sea is set for January 28th 2010.
